Fishing

The Cob House fishery has 4 main match pools; Wyatts with 30 pegs, Chestnut with 28 pegs, Laurel with 22 pegs and Oak with 18 pegs each. In addition to our match pools we also have a stretch of Victorian pools, popular for pleasure fishing. All the pools are well stocked with carp, bream, tench and other silvers. We hold weekly opens, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.Please call the office if you would like to book on 01886 888517. The fishery opening hours are:

WINTER HOURS: 8am to 4pm (rods out at 3:30pm) Wednesday to Sunday
7:30am to 4pm (rods out at 3:30pm) Saturday & Sunday

Pleasure fishing tickets can be bought on the day on arrival at The Cob Shop

2nd Rod £4 (only allowed on the Victorian pools)
